Tuesday, September 15, 2015 Commemorate the centennial anniversary of University of Arizona Anthropology, 100 years after the first day of classes on September 15, 1915, taking place at the Student Union South Ballroom.
Anthropology in Our Community: Celebrating Diversity
Friday through Saturday, October 9-10, 2015 The Greater Southwest is our focus as we celebrate the wonderful diversity of our community. It all begins Friday with Tucson Meet Yourself and 100 Years of Anthropology at the University of Arizona, which continues on Saturday and Sunday. Conclude the weekend with a look at the University of Arizona field schools throughout the ages.
Centennial Gala: Moving Forward
Friday and Saturday, December 4-5, 2015The School of Anthropology looks ahead to our next hundred years, starting with Friday's symposium on "The Future of Anthropology." The weekend, and indeed the year, culminates in a formal gala dinner on Friday night and the Party of the Century Saturday evening.

Centennial Preview
Mark your calendars! The School of Anthropology's centennial year began with a kick-off in January and will end with a grand gala in December. This fall, there are many opportunities to engage with our school around important academic and social topics. This wide range of special events includes distinguished lectures and social occasions for SOA affiliates, the University of Arizona community and the general public. Alumni and affiliated students, staff and faculty, we celebrate your excellence! The events of our centennial year provide many opportunities to network with your peers and colleagues, and to make new connections as well.
