The events of our gala weekend highlight our alumni and their achievements and will include time for sharing; reflection on the past, present, and future of anthropology; and a final celebration of the 100th. Reflecting on Our Past and Charting Our Future in Anthropology, a University of Arizona School of Anthropology Centennial Colloquium

Learn and share with our alumni as they reflect upon their careers and help us define the future of anthropology. Hear special presentations on little-known history of the School of Anthropology. Boxed lunches will be available at $12/lunch, and the selections are Regular, Vegetarian or Vegan. You may also get lunch at any of the area restaurants. School of Anthropology's Centennial Dinner
Friday, December 4, 2015, 6:00 pm cocktails, 7:15 pm dinner
You are cordially invited to a fundraising dinner at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson (3800 E Sunrise Dr., Tucson, AZ 85718). In celebration of our Centennial, the School Anthropology is hosting a fundraising dinner to celebrate the rich history of Anthropology and help establish a firm foundation for its future at the University of Arizona. The proceeds raised from this event will benefit graduate students through the Centennial Fellowship Fund endowment.
Cost: $150 per ticket ($55 tax deductible), $1500 per table ($550 tax deductible).
Meal selections include two options. Beef/Salmon Option: Braised Beef Short Rib with Thyme Infused Demi-Glace and Herb Roasted Salmon Filet, Seasonal Vegetables and Boursin Whipped Potatoes.
Vegan Option: Porcini Mushroom Risotto Timbale with Fava Beans, Roasted Winter Squash and Arugula

Tour of Tucson and Amerind Museum Tour

Take part in a tour of the Amerind Museum, or other destinations within the Tucson region. Both tours depart from the Arizona State Museum at 9:00 am. The Tour of Tucson will be led by School of Anthropology Faculty Emeriti Dr. Suzanne Fish and Dr. Paul Fish and includes stops at The Old Pascua Museum, University Indian Ruin, and Tumamoc Hill; it returns to ASM at 2:00 pm and includes a boxed lunch (meal options are Regular, Vegetarian, or Vegan). The Amerind Museum Tour, led by The Amerind Foundation's Executive Director, Dr. Christine R. Szuter, returns to ASM at 3:00 pm and includes a boxed lunch (meal options are Regular, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, or Diabetic). Click the links above for more information about each tour.
